louischadwick.co.uk is my personal portfolio of professional services/projects. I also run the @louischadspro Instagram account, @louischads X (formerly Twitter) account, and @louischads LinkedIn page.
On this site, I operate a Contact page for getting in touch. Social media platforms also allow DMs, comments, likes, and shares, and these platforms have their own privacy policies for data collection and retention. No matter how you reach out, I promise not to collect, use or disclose your personal information for any purpose other than those identified below, except with your consent or as required by law...
Personal Information I Collect:
Name
Social media profiles – for DMs or collaborations
Email Address – for professional communication or scheduling online meetings (Google Meet)
Phone Number – for discussing your enquiry
Details about your enquiry – You can share as much info as you feel necessary to brief me.
There's info about cookies further down this page.
For DJ or Voiceover service enquiries, additional information might be collected during email exchanges. E.g. for DJ services this might include sharing event location, personal music preferences, names of friends/family, etc.
Data Retention:
I keep your info for as long as we’re preparing for your event/recording session. After that:
I retain business records (e.g. invoices and contracts) for 6 years to meet legal requirements.
Personal information (like contact details or event details) will be securely deleted within 1 year unless you ask me to retain it for an agreed time period for future work.
Processing Your Data:
GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) gives you more control over your personal data. Here’s how I lawfully process your data:

Legal Obligation – I’m required by law to retain certain data for tax and accounting purposes.
Legitimate Interests – It’s in both our interests that I process your data to respond to enquiries and discuss potential bookings.
Cookie Policy
Like most websites, I use cookies to improve your experience and help me understand how visitors use my site. When you enter the site, you’ll have the option to accept or reject cookies. Here’s how it works:
Google Analytics: If you accept cookies, Google Analytics will track anonymous data about how visitors interact with the site, including general location, pages viewed, and time spent. This information helps me understand where client interest is coming from and how I can improve the site. This data is stored by Google under its privacy and cookie policies, and the data is deleted after 14 months.
If you choose to reject cookies, Google Analytics will not track any data, and no cookies will be activated for your visit to the website.
You can change your cookie preferences anytime, or clear existing cookies via your browser settings. For details on third-party cookies (like those from Google Analytics), please review their respective privacy and cookie policies.
Data Security:
I use reputable third-party services (like Dropbox, Google and JotForm) to help manage and process your data. These services have their own privacy policies and robust data security practices. I take strict measures to keep your data secure, but if you'd prefer alternate means like paper-based forms or physical file delivery, let me know, and we’ll discuss options.
Most of our correspondence will be via email or phone. I will never ask for sensitive info like passwords or card details. If anything looks suspicious, reach out to me directly.
On the Contact page, I use an embedded form from JotForm. You’ll be asked to check an “I have accepted the privacy policy” box before hitting submit, as the submission goes to my Jotform inbox. My social media channels offer alternative means of contact if you want to private message me instead.
Your Rights:
You have the right to:
Access your data
Correct or update it
Request deletion or restrict processing.
Feel free to contact me if you'd like to exercise any of these rights via contact [at] louischadwick [dot] co [dot] uk
